Good point-- I have been through the lice thing in years past. And they are hard to get rid of now, having adapted so splendidly to our poisons. And kids are so apt to touch and get really close.

As an observer I was able to put those worries aside. Somehow, too, I think girls are more likely to spread and harbour lice. (And to share brushes and hair ties and hats if you don't stop them.)

I am glad that I did not think of it at the time. I was just able to appreciate the two little guys
