Every year the same

Daughter and I are in hospital for her yearly EEG. Arrived last night. We will be here until Sunday.
Time to watch tv, eat hospital food, and nap. There is not much else to do. I have my phone and kindle. She has a paper she needs to write.
There is a machine tracking her brain, squiggling away, as she sleeps and writes, and eats French fries. So strange to have proof of the brain doing its thing when we consider ourselves goofing off. Busy things, brains.

Hope everything is fine! Has she had problems in the past?

Hospital food; is it any good? Some places are good, some are dreadful!! The Boston hospital I have been in has great food and I think it's because the patients get the same food that the caf sells to doctors, nurses, visitors, etc.

I hope everything goes fine and the time passes swiftly for you both. And yes, the brain is a very strange thing indeed!

Hope it goes ok for her this year

Yes- our brains are like all those background programmes on microsoft except that in out brains case they mostly are doing something useful.
But I see what you mean about the analysis going ticking away when we are just doing stuff like reading and eating burgers.
