Have joined the Twitter

What it says. Decided to see what I was missing. Based on what it saw in my Gmail, it reccomended a whole bunch of things to me. Seemed to be a combo of husbands contacts for work and my writing and fannish stuff. Thus shash writing and industrial hygine, chemicals, solvents, and lubricants!!

We shall see. Certain actors have an enourmous amount of followers. Still I might like to see what they have to say. They won't notice me at all, which is more than fine. I cannot imagine that I will use it much. Long form writing is more my thing. Still, I like Tumblr a lot more than I thought I ever would.

This is a new world, and I think I like it. I like the fact that it really does not matter where you live, you can socialise with the people you choose to spend time with. So much more interesting than being limited to ones town or neighborhood.

Husband has confirmed his classes for the next semester. And it looks as if the GI bill may last us longer than we thought. He has a new advisor at the VA, an ex-master cheif who seems to be a practical useful guy. The old advisor was a civilian who was doing it as an add on to some other better job. She did not know much about the military, or how to help someone who needed to access retiree services. The new guy has already pointed Mike to some stuff we had no idea about. So that is really good.

As far as writing, William Bush popped up out of nowhere and he met a girl! He likes very much to meet girls.

It has finally gotten to be winter here. Very cold.Of course Hazel finds it envigorating! She wants to go to the beach. I myself love the winter beach, but not when it is 14F with a brisk wind!

Hope you are all staying comfortably warm, (or cool, depending.)
