Don't you love when it happens?

When you are standing somewhere-- in this case the 59th subway platform-- and you suddenly have the scene or phrase, the words. I had been struggling toward this for months, and, of a sudden, there it was. It was so clear I could almost hear a sound as it fit into place. It made a sound like 'Snock.'

Now I know how to go, I know what they said next. So strange how it happens that way, and such a relief!

From my side of the page it seems as if you do a good job catching them!

So strange how things suggest other things. I wonder if, back in the 18th century people had the same thing, ideas for what they wanted to say or write occurring while they did the physical tasks that most of us are spared. So many of those farmers (and sailors,) were beautifully articulate on paper. They may not have thought of themselves as 'writers,' but the letters we have say otherwise.
