Got my internet back. Now I feel like I am really home. Posted my monster-length Cleveland thing too. Maybe pictures later today.

Huzzah! Welcome back! You've returned just as I am about to disappear. I'm not going away anywhere but my sister and her parter are coming to say for a few day, so I will probably be rather scare online. I will be looking out for pictures of your treasure chest though :)

Also, sister and parter are bringing two dogs with them. I have never had canine visitors before, it's very exciting!

Husband had a tooth out today, and the middle of my day went sideways. Cleveland story today-- pictures tomorrow.

I am sure your sister's dogs will love your house. And I bet they will get lots of attention. What sort of dogs are they?

My doggy visitors have decamped as niece has now moved into a new house and they have gone to stay with her. She has a rather spoilt Lhasa Apso and sister's partner has the most gorgeous Staffie. It was lovely having them to stat :) How is Hazel these days? I hope she's well?

Hazel is well. She had a trip on the commuter rail to visit MIL while I was gone. She apparently was unafraid in Grand Central Station.

(This from a dog who finds drizzle terrifying.) I guess other peoples fears always seem odd, when we don't share them.

Terrified of drizzle?! Poor Hazel! She'd be in a state of perpetual anxiety if she lived here! Having said that, I'd probably be pretty anxious if I had to navigate Grand Central Station :}

Our apt is on the second floor. There is a window on the landing, Hazel always checks carefully to make sure it is not raining, when I go to take her out. Sometimes, if it is drizzly or even foggy, she will retreat back up the stairs, and we have to try again later.

Oh dear, poor Hazel, she would be housebound if she lived in the West of Scotland!
