What a rotten night. I have nothing intelligent or new to say about the parts of the world where the hurts are, where what should be safe is not.

I wish you could all share my little apartment with me. We could have a big international sleepover. It would not matter where anyone was from. But my apartment is too small to keep everyone in. (Let us be honest, it is a NYC apartment, it is actually to small for 4 people.)

So I can only wish you well, out beyond my dark window.

Sleep well world, sleep safe.

Boston has recovered (mostly) from our own bombing several years ago, now. I feel the pain of those people in Paris. I pray that they will heal.

Marlowe's words have never been more apt "Why this is hell, nor am I out of it."

Our rugby team, Glasgow Warriors, and many of our supporters were in Paris last night for a game against Racing that should have been played today. One of my work colleagues is a regular visitor to the Bataclan. This hell belongs to us all.

You live in the Big Apple, Eh? I had always wondered what it would be like to live there. How is it to live in the same city as a bunch of famous people like Paul Bettany? I think if I lived in New York, I would become a stalker because I love him so completely. Same thing if I lived in Australia...and Russell. Wait...what were we talking about??

Oh yes. New York. Your international sleepover sounds lovely but anything sounds lovely after living the life I have to live...you know. ;)
