****It looks as if they don't live here, in the USA. So I myself have never walked by them. But I do wonder how many amazing things I miss every day.

I had not seen it. A drain is just how I laughed too. My favorite are the little spiders doing semaphore. They look so serious-- as well they might!

I want gears -though mostly these days I am kind of stuck between first and second I think - sort of M25 driving on many days
